(Note: Riverbend was severely damaged by the flood, but is now re-opened for business.)
You might say that Riverbend Sports Grille in Kingston Springs is a "special" place, and the visitor looking over the menu of choices, instead of asking "What’s on special?" is likely to wonder: "What’s not on special?"
Riverbend has daily and weekly specials, including a bucket of six beers for twelve dollars, Bud Light draft for a dollar a pop all day every day, fifty-cent wings on Wednesday nights, two-for-one martinis on ‘Tini Tuesdays, two-for-one house wine on Wine Wednesdays, and two-for-one well tequila on Tequila Thursdays. The food menu besides hot wings includes all different kinds of beer hotdogs, chicken tenders, burgers, catfish and pizza. To-go orders are welcome.

There are four 32-inch TVs showing sports and other fare, an outdoor porch, live music Thursday nights and karaoke Friday and Saturday beginning at 9 p.m.
Keith and Becky Parker own the 85-seat restaurant and bar which opened last September. Manager Kay Parker (no relation) says business is steadily growing.
Riverbend Sports Grille is at 132 Petro Road (behind the Petro Truck Stop). Hours are Tues.-Thurs. and Sun. noon-10 p.m. and Fri.-Sat. noon-2 a.m. Call 952-4242.
