Im selling my 85 Chevy, due to increasing family size. Ive put a lot of time,money and effort into this truck. Mechanically, everything is great. The body is straight and only needs minor fixes and then some paint. I dont have any more time to devote to this project and really just dont want to anymore. I prefer spending any extra time with my kids. Heres what its got... Only 14000 miles on engine and tranny rebuilds. 350 .030 over with Keith Black flattops. Vortec rods. Comp Cams Extreme 4x4 .278/.288 duration .488/.498 lift cam with matching springs. Edelbrock 1405 Carb. Has jet kit with it. Performer intake. Pertronix ignition and flamethrower coil. Ceramicoat headers with Flowmaster 44 mufflers. Sounds real nice.Bates machine in Centerville did all the machine work and heads. Every part on the engine has been replaced except the alternator. The trans is a 700-R4 overdrive trans built by wayne Franks. It has heavy duty clutches, servos and shift kit. All the brakes are in good shape. Rear are new as I have just recently put in a 12 bolt with 373 gears. The front is a 10 bolt. All the wheel bearings and seals are about 7 months old. Steering components are all good, no slop in the steering. Has Milemarker premium lockout hubs. I drive the truck almost daily to work. The whole 4 miles to work and back. The engine and trans were rebuilt at the same time and both only have 14,000 mile on them Interior is not bad. The carpet was pulled and has bedliner coating so its easy to hose out if needed. It has brand new bucket seats about 4 months old.Has a Sony CD player,Memphis component speakers, a kenwood amp and a 12 inch infinity sub. Put the box in right after the seats. it still needs carpet. The dash pad is pretty new too.Autometer tach with memory. Cowl inducted hood, grille and tailgate are all replaced. Also has electric fan and a big block radiator which is 2 years old. I have cab corners and rocker panels that i was going to replace but never got around to it.I have also got many extras that are going to go with the truck as I will no longer need them. Such as the original bench seat, extra coil and ignition parts an exta tailgate in real good shape and a lot more. Its time to let it all go. I recently bought the bed and stuck it on there. No rust at all, just a small dent above the drivers side wheel well. I have over 10 grand in this truck. I know I wont be able to get it back but I dont want to get lowballed either, so please dont call and try to offer much less. Thanks Brian 931 374 zero5two5
