Hey there! I have a 22x14 Slingerland Kick Drum for sale. It was made in Chicago IL, and the date inside is stamped Feb 5, 1959. The beautiful White Marine Pearl wrap is in great condition. Has the original calf skin batter head, and i'm guessing the resonant head is from the 60's or so!! This drum seriously sounds like its straight out of an old Buddy Rich recording. Very pure resonance, with extremely warm attack. The chrome is in GREAT condition for being 60 years old! I personally took each lug and screw out of the drum and cleaned/polished them, so it would have a more brilliant shine. Each lug has also been fitted with a piece of felt around the spring to ensure no rattles!! Sounds AMAZING in the studio. Not in mint condition, but it sounds and looks stunning! Truly a classic.
